abstract: Klitih, a random act of assault in public spaces perpetrated by groups of teenagers, has caused unrest in Yogyakarta. The lack of developmental facilities encourages deviant behavior. Fight Club Yogyakarta presents an alternative channel for youth to channel their energy through a community approach. This study aims to analyze FCYK's strategies in preventing juvenile delinquency through preventive, repressive, and curative approaches.
This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach, conducted in the Fight Club Yogyakarta community. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on predetermined criteria. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involved three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data validation using triangulation techniques.
The results indicate that Fight Club Yogyakarta plays a role in preventing juvenile delinquency by implementing preventive measures through training camps and various positive activities based on youth interests, repressive measures using a non-violent moral punishment approach, and curative measures through emotional development and productive use of free time. However, the implementation of these strategies still faces challenges such as limited facilities, limited financial support, and negative stigma from the community.
