ID - digilib76559 UR - https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/76559/ A1 - Nisa Ahsanu Nadia, NIM.: 22102010015 Y1 - 2025/05/20/ N2 - This study aims to identify and describe the characteristics of language style and the rhetoric analysis of enlightenment dakwah used in the "Sajian Utama" rubric of Suara Muhammadiyah Magazine during the January-July 2025 period. This research focuses on how word choice (diction), sentence structure, and rhetorical style are utilized to construct narratives for its readers. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a content analysis approach, focusing on Aristotle's rhetorical theory. The primary data in this study are in the form of article texts in the Sajian Utama Column of Suara Muhammadiyah Magazine, edition 07 'Syawal yang Menghidupkan' published on 1?15 April 2025, edition 08 'Wasathiyah Berkemajuan' published on 16?30 April 2025, edition 10 'Harmoni Keluarga di Era Digital' published on 16?31 May 2025, and edition 11 'Pengajian Jangan Kehilangan Ruh' published on 1?15 June 2025 in its 110th year. Data collection was conducted through documentation techniques. Data analysis proceeded through stages of identifying language styles and analyzing rhetorical functions (ethos, pathos, and logos). The results indicate that the "Sajian Utama" rubric systematically integrates three rhetorical elements. The construction of ethos is achieved through the use of scholarly authoritative diction and references to prominent figures, strengthening the magazine's credibility as a guide for the community. The logos strategy is reflected in the formulation of rational, data-based arguments and the contextual interpretation of holy verses. Meanwhile, the pathos element is evoked through metaphorical language styles and repetition that touch upon empathy and arouse the collective consciousness of the readers. In conclusion, this study affirms that the language style in Suara Muhammadiyah functions as an instrument to strengthen ideological identity. The synergy between institutional credibility (ethos), logical strength (logos), and emotional resonance (pathos) successfully transforms religious doctrine into an enlightening narrative. This research contributes to the study of Islamic Broadcasting Communication, particularly regarding persuasion techniques in print media dakwah facing contemporary challenges.
