      "abstract": "This article investigates ‘Â’isyah RA’s corrective interventions toward\r\nthe narrations of other Companions within the corpus of Prophetic\r\nhadîts. While\r\nclassical and contemporary scholarship has long acknowledged ‘Â’isyah’s role in\r\ncorrecting transmitted reports, existing studies have largely approached this\r\nphenomenon descriptively and have rarely examined the linguistic and pragmatic\r\nstructure of her corrective discourse. Employing a qualitative pragmatic approach,\r\nthis study analyzes a selected corpus of\r\nhadîts from Sha\r\nhî\r\nh al-Bukhârî and Sha\r\nhî\r\nh\r\nMuslim in which ‘Â’isyah RA explicitly disputes or clarifies reported narrations.\r\nThe analysis draws on speech act theory as an analytical framework to identify\r\npatterns of corrective discourse, focusing on assertive, directive, and expressive\r\nacts and the linguistic markers through which they are realized, such as negation\r\nstructures, evaluative verbs, and expressive formulas. Rather than treating these\r\ninterventions solely as juridical or theological statements, the study interprets\r\nthem as context-bound communicative acts within early\r\nhadîts transmission. The\r\nfindings suggest that ‘Â’isyah’s corrective responses function as discursive\r\nmechanisms for negotiating epistemic authority at the level of narration, grounded\r\nin proximity to the Prophet and experiential knowledge. By integrating pragmatic\r\nspeech act analysis with the conventions of\r\nhadîts scholarship, this study proposes\r\na linguistic framework for examining corrective discourse in early\r\nhadîts\r\ntransmission. It contributes to a more systematic understanding of how epistemic\r\nauthority was negotiated within early narrational interaction.",
