	bibo:abstract "Indonesia has prompted critical inquiry into how paternal roles are constructed\r\nin social media, particularly TikTok. This study aims to analyze the construction\r\nof a father's role toward daughters in TikTok videos by @Ahmadrisyad Part 28,\r\nemploying a qualitative approach through Teun A. Van Dijk's Critical Discourse\r\nAnalysis (CDA) model encompassing three levels of analysis: text structure,\r\nsocial cognition, and social context, supported by Lamb's concept of fatherhood\r\nand Berger and Luckmann's theory of social construction. Data were collected\r\nthrough documentation and non-participant observation of the videos and\r\ncomment sections, with source triangulation as the validation technique. The\r\nfindings reveal that the video positions the father as a protector, moral reference,\r\nand primary standard by which daughters evaluate male figures, while\r\nsimultaneously functioning as a space for emotional identification among\r\nfatherless audiences, albeit at the expense of marginalizing the roles of mothers\r\nand the broader social environment. This study concludes that social media does\r\nnot merely serve as a space for entertainment, but actively shapes public\r\nperception of gender roles within the family."^^xsd:string;
