This phenomenon highlights the importance of Islamic Religious Counselors as the frontline in divorce prevention within the community. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Islamic Religious Counselor's role in divorce prevention efforts at the KUA Kapanewon Depok. The theoretical framework is based on the concept of religious counselor roles by Firman Nugraha and Dudung Abdul Rohman, which includes three primary functions: motivator, dynamizer, and stabilizer. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of five subjects consisting of Islamic Religious Counselors and marriage counseling participants. The results show that the counselors perform these three roles in an integrated manner. As a motivator, the counselor strengthens spiritual aspects to align intentions for worship and reduce the anxiety of prospective couples. As a dynamizer, the counselor encourages a transformation of mindset from individualistic to collaborative through the "River of Life" simulation. As a stabilizer, the counselor maintains the harmony of the counseling session through ice-breaking techniques, ensures fair speaking opportunities for both men and women, and equips the couple with mental independence from outside influences. These three roles have been shown to build emotional readiness and resilience in couples, thereby minimising the risk of conflict leading to divorce.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">158.3 Psikologi Konseling, Penyuluhan, Bimbingan Konseling</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-04-22</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS DAKWAH DAN KOMUNIKASI</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mods:mods>
