%T PERAN PENYULUH AGAMA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN KELUARGA PADA PASANGAN USIA DINI DI KUA GAMPING SLEMAN DIY
%X The phenomenon of early marriage remains a social problem that impacts family
life, especially on aspects of economic, social, physical, and psychological wellbeing.
Early couples tend to have limited emotional, economic, and knowledge
readiness in living a household. This study aims to determine and describe the role
of Religious Counselors in improving family welfare for early couples at the KUA
Gamping Sleman DIY. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive
type. The research subjects consisted of four Religious Counselors and two early
couples who married under the age of 19. Data collection techniques included
non-participant observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews, and
documentation. Data validity was tested through source triangulation, while data
analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data
reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study
indicate that religious counselors play the role of educators through providing
guidance on financial management, conflict management, effective
communication, family jurisprudence, and reproductive health. The role of
consultants is carried out through direct assistance to household problems, the role
of mediators through neutral resolution of family conflicts, and the role of
advocates through protecting the rights of early couples. This study concludes that
the role of Religious Counselors contributes to improving the family welfare of
young couples, although its implementation remains a gradual and ongoing
process.
