bibo:abstract "The increasing number of mental health problems in Indonesia indicates that\r\nemotional wounds have become a complex psychological issue because they affect\r\nnot only emotional conditions but also self-meaning, spirituality, and an\r\nindividual’s relationship with God. In the Islamic perspective, emotional wounds\r\nare understood as maradhul qalb (disease of the heart), which disrupt inner peace\r\nand life balance. This study aims to explore clients’ subjective experiences in the\r\nhealing process of emotional wounds through Islamic hypnotherapy and to\r\nunderstand their spiritual meaning-making during the process at Metamorfosa\r\nPsychology Bureau. This study employs a qualitative approach with a\r\nphenomenological method to deeply examine participants’ lived experiences\r\nthrough in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research\r\nsubjects were clients in the emerging adulthood stage (18–29 years old) who had\r\nundergone Islamic hypnotherapy. The findings show that Islamic hypnotherapy not\r\nonly helps clients access and release past emotional wounds but also creates new\r\nspiritual meaning through dhikr, Islamic suggestions, tawhid affirmations, and selfreflection.\r\nClients experienced greater inner peace, self-acceptance, forgiveness,\r\nand spiritual reconnection with Allah. The healing process was interpreted not\r\nmerely as psychological recovery but also as a spiritual transformation that\r\nstrengthened sincerity, patience, trust in God, and self-awareness as part of life’s\r\njourney."^^xsd:string;
