This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management stages from environmental observation to evaluation in the management of international internships at LKSA Yayasan Rumah Impian, as well as identify the impact of the implementation of strategic management. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Wheelen and Hunger framework. The main informants were the head of the foundation, international internship participants, social workers and caregivers. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing with data validity testing using source and technique triangulation The findings reveal that the organization applies a flexible and contextual strategic management approach, adapted to its needs and social dynamics. The internship strategy is designed as part of the mission to create a safe environment for children and expand global networks, with a fundraising scheme as a form of intern contribution. Implementation is functional, leveraging individual intern capacities without rigid formal structures. Evaluation is conducted informally, though it lacks structured feedback mechanisms. The strategy has had a positive impact on program sustainability, organizational capacity building, and achievement of social missions. However, challenges remain, particularly regarding the number of interns, language barriers, and limited guidance for major projects.
