Covering a population of all regencies and cities across Indonesia for the 2020–2024 period, this study utilizes Capital Expenditure to examine whether the variable strengthens or weakens the existing relationships. The results of the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) reveal an interesting dynamic: DBH has a significant impact on performance, yet the role of Capital Expenditure actually exerts a weakening effect on this influence. Conversely, DAU and DAK do not show any significant impact. These findings underscore that the key to improving financial performance is not merely the magnitude of central transfers, but rather the efficiency of regional expenditure governance and the strengthening of Local Genuine Revenue (PAD).</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">657.42 Akuntansi</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-03-06</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS ISLAM</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mods:mods>
