        <dc:description>Conceptual understanding in physics is a crucial skill for students to grasp&#13;
physics concepts, relate them to natural phenomena, and represent them in various&#13;
forms. Students’ conceptual understanding can be enhanced through the use of&#13;
interactive learning media, such as e-modules linked to everyday phenomena like&#13;
the Bundengan musical instrument. This study aims to: 1) Determine the feasibility&#13;
of a Bundengan-based physics e-module in improving students’ conceptual&#13;
understanding of sound waves; 2) Determine the effect of a Bundengan-based&#13;
physics e-module on improving students’ conceptual understanding of sound&#13;
waves; 3) Determine the improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of&#13;
sound waves.&#13;
This study employed a development research design using the Borg and Gall&#13;
development model. It utilized a one-group pretest-posttest design and simple&#13;
random sampling. The study sample consisted of Class XI J. The data collection&#13;
instrument was a 25-item multiple-choice test with explanations. The improvement&#13;
in conceptual understanding was assessed by comparing students’ pretest and&#13;
posttest scores.&#13;
The results of the study indicate that the physics e-module based on the&#13;
bundengan musical instrument that was developed is highly suitable for use as a&#13;
learning medium, having achieved an average score above 4.30. The e-module has&#13;
a significant effect on improving conceptual understanding. This is evidenced by&#13;
the Wilcoxon test, which shows a significant difference between the average pretest&#13;
and posttest scores, and based on the effect size test, a value of 3.28 was obtained,&#13;
indicating that the e-module has a significant effect on improving conceptual&#13;
understanding. Students’ conceptual understanding of sound wave material showed&#13;
a significant increase after using the e-module. This is evidenced by the N-Gain&#13;
calculation, which yielded a value of 0.78.</dc:description>
