      "abstract": "Conceptual understanding in physics is a crucial skill for students to grasp\r\nphysics concepts, relate them to natural phenomena, and represent them in various\r\nforms. Students’ conceptual understanding can be enhanced through the use of\r\ninteractive learning media, such as e-modules linked to everyday phenomena like\r\nthe Bundengan musical instrument. This study aims to: 1) Determine the feasibility\r\nof a Bundengan-based physics e-module in improving students’ conceptual\r\nunderstanding of sound waves; 2) Determine the effect of a Bundengan-based\r\nphysics e-module on improving students’ conceptual understanding of sound\r\nwaves; 3) Determine the improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of\r\nsound waves.\r\nThis study employed a development research design using the Borg and Gall\r\ndevelopment model. It utilized a one-group pretest-posttest design and simple\r\nrandom sampling. The study sample consisted of Class XI J. The data collection\r\ninstrument was a 25-item multiple-choice test with explanations. The improvement\r\nin conceptual understanding was assessed by comparing students’ pretest and\r\nposttest scores.\r\nThe results of the study indicate that the physics e-module based on the\r\nbundengan musical instrument that was developed is highly suitable for use as a\r\nlearning medium, having achieved an average score above 4.30. The e-module has\r\na significant effect on improving conceptual understanding. This is evidenced by\r\nthe Wilcoxon test, which shows a significant difference between the average pretest\r\nand posttest scores, and based on the effect size test, a value of 3.28 was obtained,\r\nindicating that the e-module has a significant effect on improving conceptual\r\nunderstanding. Students’ conceptual understanding of sound wave material showed\r\na significant increase after using the e-module. This is evidenced by the N-Gain\r\ncalculation, which yielded a value of 0.78.",
