This study is a type of\r\nResearch and Development (R&D) study aimed at identifying the diversity of ferns\r\nand assessing the development and feasibility of the Fern Diversity (Pterydophyta)\r\nBooklet at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University in Yogyakarta as a Learning\r\nResource. The booklet aims to support learning outcomes in the core subject of\r\nbiodiversity for 10th-grade high school Biology (Phase E) students, specifically by\r\nanalyzing and presenting the results of observations on biodiversity in their local\r\narea, particularly fern species (Pterydophyta). The study on fern diversity\r\nconducted on the UIN Sunan Kalijaga campus used an exploratory method\r\ncombined with a purposive sampling approach and a 10 m x 10 m plotting\r\ntechnique. The results of the fern (Pterydophyta) diversity study yielded a total of\r\n2 classes, 7 families, 15 genera, and 20 species. Analysis of the Shannon-Wiener\r\ndiversity index (H’) indicates a moderate level of diversity, specifically 2.586,\r\nwhich is influenced by environmental conditions such as air temperature, humidity,\r\nlight intensity, soil pH, and soil moisture. The research findings were then\r\ndeveloped into a booklet using the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and\r\nDisseminate), limited to the Development stage. The instruments used were an\r\ninterview guide and an evaluation questionnaire, which included 1 subject matter\r\nexpert, 1 media expert, 1 biology teacher, 5 peer reviewers, and 15 responses from\r\nstudents in class XE at Banguntapan State High School 2. The evaluation results\r\nfor the booklet were as follows: 84% from the subject matter expert, 97.3% from\r\nthe media expert, 90.4% from the 10th-grade biology teacher, 95% from the peer\r\nreviewers, and 95.3% from the students. Overall, the booklet received a final score\r\nof 92.4%, earning the category of “highly suitable” for use as a supplementary\r\nlearning resource for 10th-grade biology, particularly regarding the core subject\r\nmatter of biodiversity."^^xsd:string;
