      "abstract": "This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a paludarium-based projectbased\r\nlearning (PjBL) model in enhancing the collaboration skills and learning\r\noutcomes of 10th-grade students at MAN 5 Sleman on biogeochemical cycles\r\nmaterial. The method used was a Quasi Experiment with a Non-Equivalent\r\nControl Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes selected\r\nthrough purposive sampling based on student characteristic, number, and\r\nabilities, namely 32 students from Class X-A as the experimental group\r\n(paludarium-based PjBL) and 31 students from Class X-B as the control group\r\n(Direct Instruction). The research instruments included multiple-choice tests\r\nto measure learning outcomes and questionnaire to measure collaboration\r\nskills. Both instruments underwent validity and reliability testing before use.\r\nData analysis was performed using Jamovi 2.7.6. Collaboration skill data were\r\nanalyzed descriptive statistics and using an Independent Sample T-Test. The\r\nanalysis of learning outcome data included descriptive statistics, N-Gain,\r\nPaired Sample T-Test, and Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the study\r\nindicate that the implementation of a paludarium-based PjBL model is quite\r\neffective in enhancing collaboration skills. However, there was no statistically\r\nsignificant difference between the experimental class and the control class, as\r\nindicated by the Sig. (2-tailed) p-value of 0.398 > α 0.05. therefore, so H0 is\r\naccepted and H1 is rejected. The implementation of the paludarium-based\r\nPjBL model is quite effective in enhancing student learning outcomes, as\r\nevidenced by the higher N-Gain score of the experimental class (0.37)\r\ncompared to the N-Gain score in the control class (0.10). However, there was\r\nno statistically significant difference between the experimental and control\r\nclasses based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, with a Sig. (2-\r\ntailed) p-value of <.001, which is greater than α 0.05; thus, H0 was accepted\r\nand Ha was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that PjBL model has possitive\r\neffect on enhancing collaboration skills and learning outcomes in the\r\nbiogeochemical cycle material for 10th-grade students at MAN 5 Sleman.",
