        abstract = {This study is motivated by the gap between the substantial potential of fisheries resources and the suboptimal welfare conditions of the community, as indicated by the relatively high poverty rate in Gunungkidul Regency. This condition highlights the importance of examining communities that depend on the fisheries sector, particularly inland fisher families in Kalurahan Tileng as a pioneer maritime village. The research problem focuses on how the objective and subjective welfare conditions of inland fisher families in Kalurahan Tileng, Special Region of Yogyakarta, can be described. This study aims to describe the objective and subjective welfare of inland fisher families using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the welfare of inland fisher families in Kalurahan Tileng is not yet optimal, as the multidimensional fulfillment of welfare has not achieved a balance between objective and subjective aspects. The achievement of subjective welfare, which is relatively good, has not been accompanied by the achievement of objective welfare, which remains at a moderate level.}
