bibo:abstract "This study was motivated by the importance of Qur’anic\r\nmemorization (tahfiz) learning at the elementary school level to improve\r\nmemorization quality and foster students’ religious character. Since\r\nstudents have active and diverse learning characteristics, appropriate\r\nlearning approaches are required. Therefore, this study examines the\r\nimplementation of kinesthetic intelligence and spiritual intelligence in\r\nimproving Qur’anic memorization in Islamic Religious Education\r\nlearning at SD IT Luqman Al Hakim Yogyakarta.\r\nThis study employed a qualitative approach with a field research\r\ndesign. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and\r\ndocumentation involving tahfiz teachers, Islamic Religious Education\r\nteachers, and school administrators. Data were analyzed through data\r\nreduction, data display, and conclusion drawing using Howard Gardner’s\r\ntheory of kinesthetic intelligence and Imam Al-Ghazali’s concept of\r\nspiritual intelligence.\r\nThe findings reveal that kinesthetic intelligence was\r\nimplemented through hand gestures, varied memorization repetition,\r\nactive learning, and physical activities that enhanced students’\r\nconcentration and memorization. Spiritual intelligence was implemented\r\nthrough prayer habituation, the development of proper intentions and\r\netiquette toward the Qur’an, worship practices, consistent muraja’ah, and\r\nteacher role modeling. The integration of these intelligences improved\r\nstudents’ fluency, accuracy, and retention of Qur’anic memorization. In\r\naddition, it created an active, religious, and enjoyable learning\r\nenvironment while fostering discipline, responsibility, and love for the\r\nQur’an."^^xsd:string;
