In practice, user experience (UX) plays a crucial role in determining how effectively the platform is utilized to fulfill information needs. This study aims to analyze the relationship between user experience (UX) and the fulfillment of users’ information needs on the Elipski digital library platform. The background of this research is based on the importance of user experience in determining the effectiveness of digital collection utilization, particularly in the context of religious information needs that are contextual in nature. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with three librarians and five users of the Elipski platform, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the user experience of the Elipski platform is not yet fully optimal and varies across dimensions. The aspects of searchability, source credibility, and perceived usefulness function well and serve as key drivers of platform use. However, issues related to system quality, interface design, and limited accessibility remain the main barriers. In terms of collections, the available information is generally considered relevant, yet it has not fully met users’ needs due to existing collection gaps. The relationship between user experience and the fulfillment of information needs is indirect and mediated by system quality and information quality, resulting in a gap between users’ positive perceptions and their actual usage. This study recommends a user-centered platform development approach through improvements in system quality, interface design, accessibility, and collection development aligned with users’ real-life needs. %Z Dr. Tafrikhuddin, S.Ag., M.Pd.
