        <dc:description>In the food industry, packaging plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and safety until it reaches consumers. Currently, PT XYZ is experiencing quality issues at the folding carton packaging (KKL) stage. This is evident from the high reject rate exceeding the company's tolerance limit of 2%. This study aims to Analyze KKL quality control in the folding box milk powder packaging process using the Six Sigma method. The SIPOC diagram is used to illustrate the overall production process flow. Based on identification through Critical to Quality, there are four types of rejects: setting tears, machine tears, glue, and dents. Based on the calculation results, the DPMO value is 10.976.836 with a sigma level of 3.791. Process performance is still above the Indonesian industry average, but has not yet reached the average US industry standard. There are three dominant types of rejects: machine tears (40.0%), glue (34.4%), and dents (22.9%). The fishbone diagram method is used to Analyze the root causes of the three dominant reject categories. The analysis continued using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to determine Improvement priorities based on the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) for each reject category. The proposed improvement recommendations are to repair the aluminum foil straightening machine, improve the procedure for removing KKL that has been given glue when the machine stops due to a machine tear rejection, and adjust the distribution of the operator's workload.</dc:description>
