This condition triggers various types of waste,\r\nincluding excessive waiting time, accumulation of WIP, and\r\nrework activities caused by defects, all which directly impact\r\nthe low efficiency of the production process. This study aims to\r\nidentify and analyze waste, as well as to propose improvement\r\nrecommendations to enhance the PCE in the production of\r\nKlowong Renjana batik motifs. The approach used in this\r\nstudy is lean manufacturing, employing methods such as VSM,\r\nWAM, VALSAT, PAM, and root cause analysis using the 5\r\nwhys method. The results indicate that dominant wastes are\r\ndefects (22.06%), unnecessary motion (16.69%),\r\noverproduction (16.15%), waiting (15.01%), and unnecessary\r\ninventory (14.41%). The imbalance in capacity between the\r\nklowong and isen-isen processes leads to a significant\r\naccumulation of waiting time, with delays accounting for\r\n85.62% of the total production time. The VALSAT analysis\r\nidentifies PAM as the most appropriate tool, indicating a high\r\ndominance of NVA activities at 85.78%. The proposed\r\nimprovements focus on controlling the production flow\r\nthrough the implementation of pull systems, continuous flow,\r\nstandardized work, 5S, and built-in quality. The\r\nimplementation results in the future state VSM show a\r\nreduction in lead time from 83,760 seconds to 24,161.831\r\nseconds, along with an increase in PCE from 9.82% to 32.2%,\r\nindicating a more efficient production flow that aligns more\r\nclosely with lean principles."^^ .
