The analysis employs the theories of Islamic Legal Sociology, Lawrence M. Friedman?s Legal System Theory, Soerjono Soekanto?s Theory of Legal Compliance, and Behavioral Sociology Theory. Data were collected through observation, interviews with sellers and buyers of iPhone ex inter, and field documentation. The results show that the practice of iPhone ex inter trading in Yogyakarta is driven by high consumer demand for Apple products at more affordable prices. The main factors influencing this phenomenon include economic motives, social prestige, and a lack of legal awareness regarding import and tax regulations. From the perspective of Islamic legal sociology, this practice contradicts the principles of justice, honesty, and responsibility in trade as emphasized in the Qur?an and Hadith. From the standpoint of positive law, this practice also violates the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics No. 1 of 2020 concerning the Control of Telecommunications Devices. The study concludes that public legal awareness remains low, requiring stronger efforts from both government and religious institutions to promote education on legal and ethical business principles in Islam. Consequently, the prevalence of iPhone ex inter trading can be reduced through the implementation of honesty, transparency, and compliance with both Islamic and national legal principles.} }
