      "abstract": "This research is a field study using a qualitative descriptive approach. The\r\nanalysis employs the theories of Islamic Legal Sociology, Lawrence M. Friedman’s\r\nLegal System Theory, Soerjono Soekanto’s Theory of Legal Compliance, and\r\nBehavioral Sociology Theory. Data were collected through observation, interviews\r\nwith sellers and buyers of iPhone ex inter, and field documentation.\r\nThe results show that the practice of iPhone ex inter trading in Yogyakarta\r\nis driven by high consumer demand for Apple products at more affordable prices.\r\nThe main factors influencing this phenomenon include economic motives, social\r\nprestige, and a lack of legal awareness regarding import and tax regulations. From\r\nthe perspective of Islamic legal sociology, this practice contradicts the principles\r\nof justice, honesty, and responsibility in trade as emphasized in the Qur’an and\r\nHadith. From the standpoint of positive law, this practice also violates the\r\nRegulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics No. 1 of 2020\r\nconcerning the Control of Telecommunications Devices.\r\nThe study concludes that public legal awareness remains low, requiring\r\nstronger efforts from both government and religious institutions to promote\r\neducation on legal and ethical business principles in Islam. Consequently, the\r\nprevalence of iPhone ex inter trading can be reduced through the implementation\r\nof honesty, transparency, and compliance with both Islamic and national legal\r\nprinciples.",
