Mutiara Jati Kulon Progo from the perspective of Islamic Economic Law. The study is motivated by several issues found in business transactions, including unclear contract agreements, delayed credit payments, discrepancies in wood measurement after delivery, and the non-transparent role of brokers that potentially disadvantage sellers. These conditions raise concerns regarding fairness, transparency, and protection of rights in Islamic commercial transactions. This study employs field research with a case study approach and adopts a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively. The theoretical framework is based on the theory of sales contracts in Islamic jurisprudence and the theory of Maqāṣid al-Syarī‘ah, particularly the principle of hifz al-mal (protection of property). A normative-empirical approach is applied to evaluate real practices against Islamic legal principles. The findings indicate that the trading practices of teak logs at UD. Mutiara Jati do not fully comply with Islamic economic principles. Elements of gharar (uncertainty) were identified in object clarity and measurement procedures, along with cases of payment default and unclear brokerage compensation. These practices potentially harm sellers and contradict the objectives of Islamic law in ensuring justice and protecting property. Therefore, this study recommends the formulation of clearer written contracts, standardized measurement agreements, stricter credit payment regulations, and transparent brokerage arrangements to ensure compliance with Islamic Economic Law. date: 2026 date_type: published pages: 151 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS SYARIAH DAN HUKUM thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Muhammad Alfa Reza, NIM.: 22103080023 (2026) TINJAUAN HUKUM EKONOMI SYARIAH TERHADAP PRAKTIK JUAL BELI KAYU JATI GELONDONG DI UD.
