With the rapid development of technology, the use of AI has enabled employees to accelerate the research process that previously took a long time, from literature searches to manuscript preparation. Previously, many research stages that previously took a long time, from brainstorming ideas, literature searches, compiling analytical flows, refining language to refining manuscripts, can now be completed much more quickly. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection methods used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used in this study is the analysis of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana by collecting, reducing, presenting, and concluding data related to the Role of Artificial Intelligence on Employee Performance: Implementation Study at PRKP BRIN Jakarta. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data, a data triangulation method was used. The results of this study are the role of AI in assisting the performance process of researchers at PRKP BRIN in increasing efficiency in various research stages, such as data collection, report preparation, and analysis. Despite the benefits, challenges such as ethics in the use of AI still need to be considered, which will be used as evaluation material for BRIN's next PRKP.
