One alternative solution is the implementation of the Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) model through an experimental method assisted by guitar as a learning medium, which connects physics concepts to students’ daily experiences. This study aims to determine the improvement in students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the proposed approach. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research instrument consisted of tests administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the N-gain index to measure the level of improvement in learning outcomes. The results showed that the mean pretest score of 41.4 increased to 70.9 in the posttest. Furthermore, the average N-gain score was 0.51, which falls into the moderate category. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Inquiry-Based Learning model through a guitar-assisted experimental method effectively improves students’ learning outcomes. The use of contextual and hands-on experimental activities enhances student engagement and facilitates a better understanding of sound wave concepts.
