This condition is closely linked to the phenomenon of premarital pregnancy, which drives adolescents to apply for marriage dispensations and potentially triggers parenting stress among adolescent mothers. This study aims to determine the primary factors of parenting stress in adolescent mothers who applied for a marriage dispensation at the KUA Ponjong, Gunungkidul. This study employed a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were adolescent mothers who became pregnant out of wedlock, met the criteria of having applied for a marriage dispensation at KUA Ponjong, resided in Sidorejo Village, were currently married, had at least one child, and received no childcare assistance. The object of this research is the main factor of parenting stress in 2 teenage mothers in Sidorejo Village.
