The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of interviews (in-depth interviews) and documentation. The results show that the stress coping used by students includes emotion-focused coping and problem-focused coping. Emotion-focused coping is demonstrated through efforts to control emotions, interpret rehabilitation experiences positively, distance from pressure, avoid stressful situations, and accept past mistakes as part of the self-improvement process. Problem-focused coping is demonstrated through efforts to solve problems in a focused manner, face situations considered stressful directly, and seek emotional support, motivation, mentoring, and spiritual support from the Islamic boarding school environment.
