reptile from the squamata order that has unique
characteristics. This study aims to determine the anatomical
and histological characteristics of the male reproductive
organs of the reticulated python and integrate them into
biology learning media through its development as a learning
resource in the form of an atlas. This research is a study of the
anatomy and histology of the male reproductive organs in the
reticulated python, and uses the Research and Development
(R&D) method and the ADDIE model which is limited only to
the development stage in the development of the atlas. The
sample of this study used a male reticulated python aged
approximately 2 years with a length of 2.5 meters. The results
of the study show that the anatomical structure of the male
reproductive organs, including the testes, ductus deferens and
hemipenis, has a visceral asymmetry pattern (not parallel).
This study also produced a cross-sectional preparation of the
male reproductive organs in snakes, so that the constituent
tissues can be explained. The results of this scientific research
were then developed into an anatomical and histological atlas
as a learning resource for grade XI high school students. The
atlas was developed using the Canva application through
several stages of preparation. The atlas was evaluated by one
media expert, one content expert, five peer reviewers, one high school biology teacher, and 15 eleventh-grade high school
students. The assessment results for the anatomy and histology
atlas of the male organs of the reticulated python
(Malayopython reticulatus) indicated excellent qualifications,
with assessment scores of 98% (Very Appropriate) from the
content expert, 80% (Very Appropriate), 97% (Very
Appropriate) from the peer reviewer, 100% (Very Appropriate)
from the biology teacher, and 95% (Very Appropriate) from the
students. Therefore, this atlas is highly suitable for use as a
biology learning resource for high school students.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">570.7 Pendidikan Biologi</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-05-13</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mods:mods>
