The formulation of the problem of this research is how is waste management at the Krapyak Peduli Sampah Institute of the Ali Maksum Foundation, Yogyakarta? This study aims to describe and analyze how waste management is carried out in Islamic boarding schools at the Krapyak Peduli Sampah Institute of the Ali Maksum Foundation, Yogyakarta. The method used is qualitative with a field research approach with data collection in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation of leaders, field coordinators, and daily implementers. The results of the study indicate that waste management is carried out regularly and continuously through the implementation of six stages of governance. The preparation phase focuses on clarifying the division of tasks among administrators, agreeing on waste collection procedures with the dormitory, and preparing supporting equipment. Performance planning is carried out by defining the boundaries of the main work targets, opening up discussion on work methods, and developing a schedule allocation strategy for unusual situations. Performance implementation is realized through clear daily activity guidelines, direct handling of workplace problems, and the implementation of a mutual assistance system among members. Performance assessments are carried out by leaders who directly review the results of field work using a delivery method that appreciates the efforts of members. Performance discussions are discussed through open evaluation meetings that provide freedom of expression to resolve problems and motivate members. This series of work concludes with a refinement and re-establishment phase, where the institution quickly updates physical equipment, changes work methods in the field, and determines new steps for the future.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">361.1 Permasalahan Sosial, Masalah Sosial</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-06-02</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS DAKWAH DAN KOMUNIKASI</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mods:mods>
