In public sector organizations, employee performance is influenced not only by organizational factors but also by individual factors and the balance between work and personal life roles. Work-life balance plays an important role in maintaining harmony between job demands and employees’ personal lives, while self-efficacy refers to an individual’s belief in their ability to accomplish tasks and overcome work-related challenges. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and self-efficacy on the performance of employees at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bondowoso Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to the research respondents. The population of this study consisted of employees of the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bondowoso Regency, with a total sample of 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 22 to examine the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results indicate that work-life balance does not have a significant partial effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 1,049 < 1.984 and a significance level of 0,297 > 0,05, thus the first hypothesis is rejected. Conversely, self-efficacy has a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 7,665 > 1.984 and a significance level of 0,000 < 0,05, therefore the second hypothesis is accepted. Simultaneously, work-life balance and self-efficacy has a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 54,788 > 3,09 and a significance level of 0,000 < 0,05, thus the third hypothesis is accepted.
