This research is motivated by the increasing threat of cyberattacks in the digital banking sector, particularly following the cyberattack incident experienced by BSI, which resulted in service disruptions and declining customer trust. This study employs a quantitative approach based on the Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) and Social Cognitive Theory (SCT). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with criteria involving active users of BSI mobile banking services. The data analysis method applied in this study was Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM- PLS). The findings indicate that perceived severity, perceived vulnerability, response efficacy, self-efficacy, and responsibility have a positive and significant effect on cyberattack mitigation behavior. These findings indicate that higher customer perceptions regarding cyber threats, the effectiveness of protective actions, self capability, and responsibility awareness in maintaining digital security will increase cyberattack mitigation behavior.
