In the context of modern work, employee mental health has become a critical issue due to high levels of psychosocial stress and interpersonal dynamics in the workplace. One often overlooked phenomenon is workplace ostracism a condition where an individual experiences exclusion or is ignored by coworkers, which can lead to psychological estrangement. This study aims to understand psychological estrangement among employees experiencing workplace ostracism. The study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to explore employees subjective experiences in understanding psychological estrangement. The informants consisted of three employees selected using purposive and snowball sampling techniques, based on the criterion of having previously experienced exclusion in the workplace. The results indicated that psychological estrangement manifests as feelings of being disregarded, a loss of work meaning, and a tendency to withdraw from the social environment. These conditions are influenced by experiences of neglect, a lack of social support, and unhealthy communication within the workplace.
