However, contemporary media such as K-Pop can provide positive spaces for adolescents to explore their identities. One example is the music video “Social Path” by Stray Kids, which conveys messages about adolescent identity struggles. This study aims to analyze the messages related to adolescent identity crises in the music video. The research employs a qualitative paradigm with a descriptive content analysis method using Klaus Krippendorff’s content analysis approach. Data were collected through lyric transcription as verbal messages and scene documentation as non-verbal messages depicting expressions, symbols, and actions. The findings reveal four stages of adolescent identity formation based on James Marcia’s theory: identity diffusion, identity foreclosure, identity moratorium, and identity achievement. These stages illustrate adolescents’ uncertainty, social and parental pressures, internal struggles, and eventual self-acceptance.
