This study was motivated by the researcher's interest in the practice of internalizing religious moderation values in Jrahi Village, Gunungwungkal District, Pati Regency, a community characterized by religious diversity. The objectives of this study were: (1) to analyze the forms of local wisdom that serve as the foundation for the internalization of religious moderation values in Jrahi Village; (2) to describe the process of internalizing religious moderation values through local wisdom-based informal education; and (3) to analyze the representation of religious moderation values in the socio-religious practices of the Jrahi Village community. This study employed a qualitative approach using an ethnographic research design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving religious leaders, community leaders, parents, youth, and local residents of Jrahi Village. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that: (1) the local wisdom serving as the basis for the internalization of religious moderation values in Jrahi Village includes the traditions of Sedekah Bumi, Barikan, Ngalungi Sapi, Lamporan, Rewang, grave-cleaning rituals, and various forms of interfaith mutual cooperation, all of which embody the values of tasamuh (tolerance), tawasuṭ (moderation), tawazun (balance), syura (deliberation), and i'tidal (justice); (2) the process of internalizing religious moderation values takes place through culture-based informal education involving the stages of transformation, transaction, and transinternalization, supported by experiential learning, modeling, habitus formation, and advice provided by parents, religious leaders, and the wider community; and (3) the socio-religious practices of the Jrahi Village community represent the indicators of religious moderation, namely tolerance, non-violence, national commitment, and accommodation of local culture.
