"Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, 2026.\r\nThis study was motivated by the researcher's interest in the practice of\r\ninternalizing religious moderation values in Jrahi Village, Gunungwungkal District,\r\nPati Regency, a community characterized by religious diversity. The objectives of\r\nthis study were: (1) to analyze the forms of local wisdom that serve as the foundation\r\nfor the internalization of religious moderation values in Jrahi Village; (2) to describe\r\nthe process of internalizing religious moderation values through local wisdom-based\r\ninformal education; and (3) to analyze the representation of religious moderation\r\nvalues in the socio-religious practices of the Jrahi Village community.\r\nThis study employed a qualitative approach using an ethnographic research\r\ndesign. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and\r\ndocumentation involving religious leaders, community leaders, parents, youth, and\r\nlocal residents of Jrahi Village. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data\r\ndisplay, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source\r\nand technique triangulation.\r\nThe findings reveal that: (1) the local wisdom serving as the basis for the\r\ninternalization of religious moderation values in Jrahi Village includes the traditions\r\nof Sedekah Bumi, Barikan, Ngalungi Sapi, Lamporan, Rewang, grave-cleaning\r\nrituals, and various forms of interfaith mutual cooperation, all of which embody the\r\nvalues of tasamuh (tolerance), tawasuṭ (moderation), tawazun (balance), syura\r\n(deliberation), and i'tidal (justice); (2) the process of internalizing religious\r\nmoderation values takes place through culture-based informal education involving\r\nthe stages of transformation, transaction, and transinternalization, supported by\r\nexperiential learning, modeling, habitus formation, and advice provided by parents,\r\nreligious leaders, and the wider community; and (3) the socio-religious practices of\r\nthe Jrahi Village community represent the indicators of religious moderation,\r\nnamely tolerance, non-violence, national commitment, and accommodation of local\r\nculture. The study concludes that religious moderation in Jrahi Village develops as\r\na praxis-cultural form of moderation, sustained through traditions and social habits\r\nrather than through structured conceptual instruction."^^ .
