The study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used interviews with 5 sources of deaf students at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University who were completing their final assignments. The results of the study showed that the majority of deaf students at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University were aware of the need for information, each deaf student had a different way of searching. Starting from the starting stage to browsing, each student needed different forms of information such as in the form of literature or media, then at the differentiating stage to ending each deaf student had different behaviors but had the same goal, namely getting the information needed.
