        abstract = {This research was motivated by the importance of managing kitab study programs in a directed, systematic, and sustainable manner within Islamic women?s organizations based in pesantren. Jam?iyyah Perempuan Pengasuh Pesantren dan Mubalighoh (JPPPM) of Magelang City has a kitab study program as a means of strengthening Islamic knowledge, character building, preserving pesantren traditions, and developing the quality of members? da?wah. This study aims to identify and analyze strategic management in the development of the kitab study program at JPPPM Magelang City using the strategic management theory of Thompson and Strickland. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques were carried out through nonparticipant observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that strategic management in developing the kitab study program was implemented through the development of vision and mission, goal setting, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. The development of the vision and mission was conducted by aligning the regional organizational direction with the central JPPPM. Goal setting was directed toward strengthening knowledge, character, and members? professionalism. Strategy formulation and implementation were carried out flexibly through routine studies, Ramadan studies, thematic studies, bahtsul masail forums, and the utilization of digital media as a coordination tool. Evaluation was conducted to assess the continuity of activities, member participation, and the benefits of the program in improving the quality of members? knowledge. The conclusion of this study shows that the strategic management implemented by JPPPM Magelang City has been sufficiently effective in supporting the development of the kitab study program as a medium for strengthening da?wah capacity, preserving pesantren traditions, and forming members? scholarly identity.}
