%X The Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia; before 2010, Departemen Agama Republik Indonesia) is a state institution responsible for the administration of religious affairs in Indonesia. One of the ministry’s most significant contributions lies in the publication of the Qurʾānic text, the production of Qurʾān translations and Qurʾān commentaries, as well as other related literature and various Qurʾān-focused initiatives. The Qurʾān translation, in particular, has been the most successful Qurʾān translation project initiated by a nation-state.
