	bibo:abstract "The COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world in early 2020 has changed the way we live. All sectors were affected, including educational sector. To prevent the spread of the virus and save students life, teaching and learning activities in school are changed. Teaching and learning activities are moved from classroom to home. Problems in the learning process arose because teachers and students were not well prepared for this scenario. For this reason, online learning was the only one solution to continue teaching and learning activities. Therefore online learning become the only way to provide learning process during restriction in COVID-19 pandemic. There were some problems emerge in teaching and learning process because both teachers and students must keep doing learning process while they were not prepared well before to face such situation. Some problems that emerge were difficulty in communication between teachers and students, difficulty in students'conditioning during online learning, and learning process that is not well running optimally.This study was conducted to determine the extent of the teachers' strategies and the active roles of parents in promoting online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at MIN 1 Bantul. This study was used qualitative approach with the type of field research. Interviews and surveys were used to collect data. The results of this study are divided into three categories. First, the strategies used by teachers at MIN 1 Bantul in online learning are utilizing learning applications that can be accessed via the internet using devices such as mobile phones, laptops, or computers. In addition, the teacher also tried to deliver learning materials in the form of videos and worksheets that can be accessed via the internet. Second finding of this study was active role played by parents and guardians of students at MIN 1 Bantul. During online learning parents and guardians were provide assistance as well as facilities that support students for easier learning process. The third finding was teachers at MIN 1 Bantul implemented online learning strategies using the type of media by utilization because they utilize pre-existing media tools."^^xsd:string;
