abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of financial distress, growth opportunity, leverage, and liquidity on hedging activities in multinational companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index in 2016-2020. The data used is quantitative data with the method of analysis in the form of logistic regression. The tool used to test the data is using the SPSS program. The sample data used in this study were 85 samples. The results of the study partially show that financial distress and leverage have the same results, which have a positive and insignificant effect on hedging activities, liquidity has a negative and significant effect on hedging activities, while the growth opportunity variable does not influence hedging activities in multinational companies.
