%T EVALUASI TINGKAT EFEKTIVITAS ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOGUE (OPAC) BERBASIS INLIS LITE DI DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA BERDASARKAN RECALL DAN PRECISION
%X The purpose of this research is to determine the evaluation results of the INLIS Lite-based OPAC at the Yogyakarta City Library and Archives Office based on recall and precision, using subjects who frequently borrow materials and employing the title search field with natural language. Purposive sampling was used for sample collection. Subjects using controlled language and those using natural language were selected as the research samples. From the ten main DDC class numbers, three subjects were chosen from each class, resulting in a total of 60 subjects for this study. The researcher selected subjects between August and October 2024. Data collection utilized a laptop as an aid to calculate hits, noises, and misses. Data analysis employed recall and precision formulas, followed by the use of the mean formula to find the averages. The research results showed that subjects using controlled language in the title search field had an average recall value of 63.90269 and an average precision value of 56.63225, while subjects using natural language had an average recall value of 93.33333 and an average precision value of 76.42372. The evaluation results concluded that the effectiveness level of the OPAC at the Yogyakarta City Library and Archives Office is higher when searching for collections using subjects with natural language compared to those using controlled language.
