The object of this research is The Taqwacores (2010). This research uses a qualitative-descriptive research method, using scenes and dialogue from the object as sources. Based on Seymour Chatman's theory, this research focuses on story and discourse elements. It is found that, through the actions and happenings depicted in the film, the narrative manages to show the uniquely diverse ways in which the Muslim characters show their Muslim identity.
