abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of digital financial applications and lifestyle on the effectiveness of personal financial management, with Islamic financial literacy serving as a moderating variable among students of Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method to assess the relationships among variables and the moderating role of Islamic financial literacy. The findings indicate that digital financial applications have a significantly effect on the effectiveness of personal financial management, while lifestyle positive influences students’ financial management behavior. Furthermore, Islamic financial literacy is proven to moderate the relationship between digital financial applications and lifestyle on personal financial management effectiveness.
