This study aims to analyze the forms of coping mechanisms employed by deaf individuals at DPC GERKATIN Sleman, as well as how they are viewed from the perspective of Islamic Guidance and Counselling. The research method used is qualitative with a study case approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, with the validity of the data tested using the source triangulation technique. The results of the study indicate that the coping mechanisms utilized by the deaf individuals at GERKATIN Sleman are divided into two main strategies: Problem-Focused Coping (PFC) and Emotion-Focused Coping (EFC). The PFC strategy, which focuses on directly addresing the source of stress, is divided into three aspects: planful problem-solving, confrontative coping, and seeking social support. Meanwhile, the EFC strategy, which focuses on regulating emotional responses, is divided into five aspects. These aspects include distancing, self controlling, accepting responsibillity which is expanded into self acceptance of unchangeable realities as a foundation for taking full responsibillity for oneself, escape avoidance, and positive reappraisal. From the perspective of Islamic Guidance and Counselling, the entiretyof these strategies represents a combination of outward efforts (ikhtiar) and inner spiritual management through the values of patience, gratitude, acceptance, and trust in God (tawakal) to achieve peace of mind (sakinah).} }
