      "abstract": "The anime film The Journey features various spiritual miracles derived from Islamic religious narratives and constructed through visual and narrative elements in the film. These spiritual miracles are not merely present as part of the plot but also construct religious meanings regarding divine assistance, salvation, and the destruction of the unbelievers. This study aims to examine how spiritual miracles are represented in the anime film The Journey. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis method to interpret the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings in scenes representing spiritual miracles. Stuart Hall’s theory of representation is utilized to explain the construction of meaning through visual and narrative sign systems, while Himawan Pratista’s cinematic elements and an Islamic theological perspective serve as supporting frameworks for the analysis. The results of this study indicate that spiritual miracles in the film The Journey are represented through a gradual pattern consisting of a state of urgency, the emergence of signs of a changing situation, the presence of divine intervention, and the attainment of salvation for the faithful and destruction for the unbelievers. These representations are constructed through changes in weather, a darkening sky, lighting, visual composition, and narrative elements that place the characters in crisis situations. This study demonstrates that spiritual miracles in the film are represented as religious constructions of meaning regarding God’s assistance, protection for the faithful, and an affirmation of divine power.",
