bibo:abstract "The rapid development of financial technology has significantly transformed\r\ninvestment activities, including sharia stock investment, which can now be conducted\r\nthrough digital platforms such as Bibit. The convenience, efficiency, and accessibility\r\noffered by such platforms have increased public interest in sharia-based investment\r\nproducts. Nevertheless, the implementation of sharia stock investment through digital\r\nplatforms requires further examination to ensure its compliance with Islamic legal\r\nprinciples as stipulated in the fatwas of the National Sharia Council-Indonesian Ulema\r\nCouncil (DSN-MUI) and the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah). This\r\nstudy aims to: (1) describe the practice of sharia stock investment through the Bibit\r\nplatform; (2) analyze the practice from the perspective of DSN-MUI fatwas; and (3)\r\nexamine it from the perspective of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah.\r\nThis study employs a library research method with a descriptive-analytical\r\napproach. The data were collected from various written sources, including DSN-MUI\r\nfatwas, statutory regulations, books, academic journals, undergraduate theses,\r\nmaster's theses, and other relevant literature. The study applies a normative approach\r\nfocusing on Islamic legal principles derived from the Qur’an, Hadith, DSN-MUI fatwas,\r\nand the theory of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively\r\nthrough data reduction, classification, interpretation, and conclusion drawing.\r\nThe findings reveal that sharia stock investment through the Bibit platform\r\ninvolves account registration, fund deposits, the selection of stocks listed in the Sharia\r\nSecurities List (Daftar Efek Syariah), and electronic trading through the Indonesia\r\nStock Exchange. From the perspective of DSN-MUI fatwas, the investment practice\r\ncomplies with sharia principles because it utilizes sharia-compliant stocks, avoids\r\nelements of riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maisir (gambling), and does not\r\nfacilitate short selling or interest-based margin trading. Furthermore, from the\r\nperspective of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, the practice promotes public welfare by preserving\r\nreligion (hifẓ al-dīn), enhancing intellectual awareness and financial literacy (hifẓ al-\r\n‘aql), and protecting as well as developing wealth productively (hifẓ al-māl). Therefore,\r\nsharia stock investment through the Bibit platform is considered consistent with Islamic\r\nlegal principles and supports the realization of the objectives of Islamic law in\r\neconomic transactions."^^xsd:string;
