        <dc:description>Performance management plays an important role in improving the quality&#13;
of human resources and educational services at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2&#13;
Yogyakarta. This study aims to describe the implementation of teacher performance&#13;
management at MAN 2 Yogyakarta based on five indicators: performance planning,&#13;
goal setting, performance measurement, feedback, and performance development.&#13;
This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected&#13;
through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, the&#13;
vice principal for curriculum affairs, teachers, and students. The validity of the data&#13;
was examined using source triangulation.&#13;
The findings indicate that the implementation of performance management&#13;
at MAN 2 Yogyakarta has been carried out effectively. Performance planning is&#13;
implemented through participatory work program planning, goal setting is aligned&#13;
with teachers' competencies and workloads, performance measurement is&#13;
conducted objectively through competency mapping and continuous evaluation,&#13;
feedback is provided through communication and coaching to address work-related&#13;
challenges, while performance development is carried out through training,&#13;
workshops, seminars, monitoring, and teacher regeneration programs. Among the&#13;
five indicators, performance measurement emerged as the most prominent aspect&#13;
because it contributes to assigning teachers according to their competencies,&#13;
thereby supporting the improvement of learning quality and educational services&#13;
at MAN 2 Yogyakarta.</dc:description>
