      "abstract": "Performance management plays an important role in improving the quality\r\nof human resources and educational services at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2\r\nYogyakarta. This study aims to describe the implementation of teacher performance\r\nmanagement at MAN 2 Yogyakarta based on five indicators: performance planning,\r\ngoal setting, performance measurement, feedback, and performance development.\r\nThis research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected\r\nthrough observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, the\r\nvice principal for curriculum affairs, teachers, and students. The validity of the data\r\nwas examined using source triangulation.\r\nThe findings indicate that the implementation of performance management\r\nat MAN 2 Yogyakarta has been carried out effectively. Performance planning is\r\nimplemented through participatory work program planning, goal setting is aligned\r\nwith teachers' competencies and workloads, performance measurement is\r\nconducted objectively through competency mapping and continuous evaluation,\r\nfeedback is provided through communication and coaching to address work-related\r\nchallenges, while performance development is carried out through training,\r\nworkshops, seminars, monitoring, and teacher regeneration programs. Among the\r\nfive indicators, performance measurement emerged as the most prominent aspect\r\nbecause it contributes to assigning teachers according to their competencies,\r\nthereby supporting the improvement of learning quality and educational services\r\nat MAN 2 Yogyakarta.",
