      "abstract": "Guidance and counseling services are an essential component of supporting\r\nstudents' personal, social, academic, and career development. However, their\r\nimplementation continues to face several challenges, including negative\r\nperceptions of school counselors, limited utilization of counseling services, and the\r\nneed for evaluation based on students' perspectives as service recipients. This study\r\naimed to analyze students' responses to the implementation of guidance and\r\ncounseling services based on their experiences at SMK Penerbangan Angkasa\r\nArdhya Garini (AAG) Adisutjipto Yogyakarta. The study employed a descriptive\r\nresearch design with a quantitative approach as the primary method, supported by\r\nqualitative data. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires and\r\nanalyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of frequencies and percentages.\r\nQualitative data were obtained through interviews, and documentation and\r\nanalyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting\r\nof data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The\r\nparticipants consisted of Grade XI students, including 82 questionnaire respondents\r\nand 19 interview informants selected based on their experience in receiving\r\nguidance and counseling services. The findings indicate that students generally\r\nexpressed positive responses toward the implementation of classroom guidance,\r\ngroup guidance, group counseling, and individual counseling services. Positive\r\nresponses were associated with the relevance of service content to students' needs,\r\ncounselors' communicative approach, and the benefits of the services in addressing\r\nstudents' personal, social, and academic concerns. Nevertheless, several aspects\r\nrequire improvement, particularly post-service evaluation, broader student\r\nparticipation in group services, and efforts to reduce negative stigma toward\r\nguidance and counseling services. Overall, the implementation of guidance and\r\ncounseling services has been effective but still requires continuous improvement to\r\nbetter meet students' developmental needs.",
