bibo:abstract "The declining marriage rate and increasing concerns about marriage among\r\nemerging adults highlight the importance of marriage readiness in fostering high quality\r\nmarital relationships. Marriage readiness is influenced by various factors, including\r\nemotional maturity and marital attitudes. This study aimed to examine the relationship between\r\nemotional maturity and marital attitudes with marriage readiness among emerging\r\nadults. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The\r\nparticipants consisted of 402 unmarried emerging adults aged 19–27 years, selected using\r\na purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using the Marriage Readiness Scale,\r\nthe Emotional Maturity Scale, and the Marital Attitude Scale. The data were analyzed using\r\nmultiple linear regression with a bootstrapping technique through Jamovi software because\r\nthe data were not normally distributed. The results showed that emotional maturity and\r\nmarital attitudes simultaneously had a significant relationship with marriage readiness (F\r\n= 13.9, p < .001), with an R² value of 6.5%. Partially, emotional maturity was negatively\r\nassociated with marriage readiness, whereas marital attitudes were positively associated\r\nwith marriage readiness. These findings suggest that positive marital attitudes contribute\r\nto greater marriage readiness, while individuals with higher emotional maturity tend to be\r\nmore cautious when deciding to marry. The findings of this study are expected to provide a\r\nbasis for emerging adults to develop positive and realistic attitudes toward marriage and\r\nsupport the implementation of premarital education programs that help individuals prepare\r\npsychologically before entering married life."^^xsd:string;
