Various generative AI applications, such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot, assist students in the learning process. However, the use of AI needs to be balanced with Self- Regulated Learning (SRL) to effectively support the development of critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine the influence of AI usage intensity and SRL on students' critical thinking skills, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 215 students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts, with a sample of 140 students selected using the proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that AI usage intensity has a positive and significant influence on students' critical thinking skills (t = 4.326; Sig. = 0.000). SRL also has a positive and significant influence on students' critical thinking skills (t = 9.729; Sig. = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a positive and significant influence on students' critical thinking skills (F = 103.988; Sig. = 0.000), with a coefficient of determination (R?) of 0.603. These findings indicate that AI usage intensity and SRL jointly explain 60.3\% of the variance in students' critical thinking skills, while the remaining 39.7\% is explained by other factors outside the scope of this study.} }
