learning activities of students in the Islamic Educational Management Study&#13;
Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Various generative AI&#13;
applications, such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot, assist students&#13;
in the learning process. However, the use of AI needs to be balanced with Self-&#13;
Regulated Learning (SRL) to effectively support the development of critical&#13;
thinking skills. This study aims to examine the influence of AI usage intensity and&#13;
SRL on students' critical thinking skills, both partially and simultaneously.&#13;
This study employed a quantitative approach. The population consisted of&#13;
215 students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts, with a sample of 140 students&#13;
selected using the proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected&#13;
through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, prerequisite&#13;
tests, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression.&#13;
The findings indicate that AI usage intensity has a positive and significant&#13;
influence on students' critical thinking skills (t = 4.326; Sig. = 0.000). SRL also&#13;
has a positive and significant influence on students' critical thinking skills (t =&#13;
9.729; Sig. = 0.000). Simultaneously, both variables have a positive and&#13;
significant influence on students' critical thinking skills (F = 103.988; Sig. =&#13;
0.000), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.603. These findings indicate&#13;
that AI usage intensity and SRL jointly explain 60.3% of the variance in students'&#13;
critical thinking skills, while the remaining 39.7% is explained by other factors&#13;
